How to get rid of ringworm?

I have had this spot that started out the size of a dime on the under side of my upper arm. At first I didn't know it was ringworm I thought it was just a dry spot.....so I put vaseline on it for 2 days. Ooops! Well After a few days I found out from a nurse it was a ringworm. It doesn't itch at all and I tried the clear nailpolish thing for about 2 weeks and only got bigger! It is huge now, it is a little bigger than the size of a half dollar now. So I tried antifungal cream and it has now been about 4 weeks since I have had it. I have been using the antifungal cream for about 2 weeks now and I haven't seen any change. I even went to the doctar and he prescribed me what I already had! Antifungal cream! It feels pretty dry to the touch and also somewhat warmer than the rest of my body. It peels a little bit too, but I don't know if should just leave it or try and peel what is flaking off? I know it has only been 2 weeks since I have been using the antifungal cream, but I am getting a bit worried since I am seeing no change at all! I only wear my clothes once then wash them as well as wash the ringworm before more cream. What can I do???
