The Bible is a collection of stories, handed down generation to generation, revamped to fit the generation in which they were told. Eventually, someone figured out it'd be good to write it all down. A LOT got lost in translation. For example, in the original version of Genesis, it was godS (plural) who created the heavens & the earth and god (singular) who created Adam, Eve, and the Garden.
