Feeling insecure around a friend (long - please read)?

Oh. My. Gosh. We are freaking experiencing the same thing. Although my best friend's moving to another school. Sucks since I am my only friend. I've got no companions anymore. And she's my only friend in our school. I mean I have other friends but you know, she's my only 'best friend', a friend to go with all the time, etc etc. I still don't know what to do on the first day of our school (without her) here in my country. I am gonna miss her somehow and I also feel insecure because everyone likes her but me. I feel like I'm just the 'sidekick' or something. Sucks to feel this. I think maybe we should just get out of our shell.. but for me, it's just not that easy. I really still don't know what to do. Since I'm pretty shy and all. Maybe we should just be with another friend. WAIT-- I'm getting out of topic.. LOL. So uhm yes, think of your happy moments with Julia. Talk to her about it sincerely or talk to her about it in a joking way. Know what I mean? And you said she cares about your feelings. My friend also loves her friends in her other school than me. (or at least I feel that way). It hurts me but she's been with them for a long time, I can't blame her for that. Just talk to her about it. Good luck to us. <3
