Do I have a virus in this situation?

I've been noticing a slight decrease in speed with my computer ever since I followed a malicious link to tinyurl.com. I was prompted with the message "Malicious content detected! Webpage blocked!", thanks to my anti-virus program. I'm worried that I may have still gotten a virus. So, my question is, could I have a virus from that?
